My friend is a retired businessman in his early 60 and what he encountered last Saturday in a high end dining/shopping area could also happen to anyone of us.

My friend accompanies his wife to a bank in Holland Village to do some banking transaction. While his wife was being served by the personal banking executive, he decided to go and do some window-shopping around the area. While admiring the display, suddenly, out of nowhere, a young about 20+ girl pushes him aside and shouted at him, accusing my friend of molesting her. She then asked my friend to compensate her for her "ordeal" - lost of face.

My friend being a gentleman was stunned and lost of word for a moment because he really never does any thing to her. He just stood there and doesn’t know what to do. His mind went blank.

Luckily, a Caucasian man nearby saw all that and tells the PRC girl to stop her nuisance (unsure whether she understand English) and take out his mobile and say he wanted to call the police. The PRC girl quickly walked away joining the other shoppers.

Should any man become one of the victims, please stay calm. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT start arguing or reasoning with her. If you try to reason with her, then you had fallen into her trap. In general, people will most likely sympathise and believe a female as a victim. You will end up paying her demand.

Just take out your mobile or ask someone (if you had no mobile) to call the police, let the law enforcement authority deal with her. For sure, all this PRC girls dare not face the justice of the law because most of them are over-stayers.

Better still, if you witness such incident, be sure to stand up and fight for the justice of such poor men. Ladies who come forward will carry even more weight. TOGETHER WE CAN RID OUR SOCIETY OF THESE SCOURGES.

You’d think toilets were full of bacteria, right?

Well, 12-year-old Jasmine Roberts, a smart 7th grade student in Tampa, Florida hit
upon a startling discovery as part of her winning science fair project.

She compared the ice used in sodas and other drinks with the water from the
toilet bowls in the same fast food restaurants. She was shocked by the results.

The ice served in soft drinks and other beverages at fast food restaurants had
more bacteria than water from the same restaurant’s toilet! Not only that, but 70
percent of the time, the ice had more bacteria than the toilet water.

Jasmine had the water tested at a lab at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, where
she volunteers with a USF professor. Ice in three of the five restaurants tested
positive for fecal coliform or E. coli, organisms that come from the feces of warmblooded
animals!

As the Tampa newspaper pointed out, symptoms, “related to the presence of
coliform include cramps and diarrhea. E. coli can cause intestinal illness and, in
rare cases, hemolytic uremic syndrome, a serious kidney condition.”

“I thought there might be a little bacteria in the ice, but I never expected it to be this much,” Jasmine told the Tampa Bay News, “ And I never thought the toilet water
would be cleaner.”

He was fired when it became clear that his research did not support the cell phone industry’s claims of safety.

Observing the following simple precautions and recommendations can reduce your exposure to dangerous electromagnetic radiation (EMR).

Cell Phone Safety Recommendations

1. Don’t allow children to use cell phones, except for emergencies.

Ø Don't buy them a cell phone.

Ø Children’s skulls are thinner and their brains contain more fluid than adults’. Electromagnetic radiation travels more easily through liquids; therefore, radio frequencies travel through children’s brains much more easily. This puts children at a greater risk of developing cancer through exposure to EMR.

Ø Malignant brain tumors are the second leading cause of death in children [under the age of 15] and young adults [under the age of 34], according to NeurologyChannel. com

Ø Brain tumors now cause more deaths among children than any other form of cancer, reports Sydney TV News.

Ø If your children already have cell phones, and for whatever reason you decide not to change the status quo, don’t let them sleep with their cell phones under their pillows. (You might be surprised where your kids keep their cell phones!)

Ø They shouldn’t play games on cell phones, either.

Ø It’s wise to teach your children why you don’t want them to use cell phones. Educate them about the dangers. Help them understand and accept that you are responsible for their safety, and that, as they get older, they begin to share that responsibility too.

Ø Be an example to them by not using cell phones yourself if you can at all avoid it.

2. Avoid using a cell phone if you are pregnant, or suspect that you might be.

Ø Don’t use a cell phone with a baby or young child on your lap or in your arms. The developing organs of the fetus or child are the most sensitive to any possible effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) exposure. [Reference: R. B. 3. Limit the amount of time you talk on cell phones.

Ø The more time you spend talking on cell phones, the greater your risk of developing brain or eye cancer.

Ø Be polite, but keep it brief. Discourage unnecessary conversations on the cell phone. You may be saving a life - quite possibly your own or that of a loved one.

Ø Consider using text messages as much as possible, but still only when truly necessary. Develop your own strategy for avoiding long conversations on the cell phone.

4. Use a regular phone as much as possible.

Ø Regular phones are your safest bet for conversations and work.

5. Keep the cell phone as far away from your body as possible.

Ø By moving the cell phone just 5 cm (approximately 2 inches) away from your head while talking on it, you reduce by 75% the electromagnetic radiation that reaches your head. [Reference: R. B. Herberman, MD, University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (2008)]

Ø You cut your EMR exposure to less than 1% by keeping the cell phone over 18 cm (approximately 7 inches) away from any part of your body. [Reference: R. B. Herberman, MD, University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (2008)]

6. Avoid carrying your cell phone in your pocket, on your belt, or in your hand.

Ø The hip produces 80% of the body’s red blood cells and is especially vulnerable to EMR damage. Close proximity may also affect fertility. [Reference: Dr. George Carlo, Medical Alert: Aggravated Symptom Relapses (May 2008)]

Ø Body tissue in the abdomen absorbs radiation more quickly than the head.

Ø If you carry a cell phone in your purse, you should position it with the keypad facing toward you in order to get less EMR. For you women who like purses with two or more compartments, you can carry the phone in the compartment farthest from your body. Avoid carrying a cell phone in a fanny pack (also known, depending on where you live, as hip pack, bum bag, pouch, etc.) It’s too close to your body.

7. Avoid using wired headsets.

Ø Headsets, including the ear buds that come with most cell phones today, have been shown to act as antennas, channeling the EMR directly into the ear canal. [Reference: Dr. George Carlo, Medical Alert: Aggravated Symptom Relapses (May 2008)]

Ø When you use regular ear buds or ear pieces, you’re getting 3 times more EMR than if you held the cell phone against your ear, and you’re getting it directly into your ear canal, and therefore into your brain.

Ø This is also a good reason to avoid listening to music on your cell phone.

8. Use an air tube headset with ferrite beads.

Ø This type of headset is believed to be safer, because EMR can’t travel up the air tube like it does on a regular wired earphone.

Ø Unlike regular headsets, the air tube headset doesn’t act as an antenna.

Ø Ferrite beads suppress the EMR and dissipate it. In other words, they absorb the EMR and convert it into heat.

Ø For maximum protection, use an air tube headset with a ferrite bead placed as near as possible to the cell phone.

9. Use the speaker phone as much as possible.

Ø Never hold the phone directly against your head.

Ø EMR decreases in direct proportion to the distance the source is from your body.

Ø It's better if you don't even have the phone in your hand. The damage from EMR is not limited to tissue damage near the exposure site.

10. Some suggest using a BlueTooth head piece.

Ø It’s reported that BlueTooth headsets emit 1/100th the EMR of a normal cell phone. That’s good. But whatever EMR a BlueTooth headset does emit, it does so directly into the ear. Caution is warranted.

11. Avoid using a cell phone while in metal enclosures.

Ø This includes the following: Vehicles; Elevators; Airplanes; Trains; Subways; and any other metal enclosure. [Reference: Dr. George Carlo, Medical Alert: Aggravated Symptom Relapses (May 2008)]

Ø Turn your phone off inside all metal enclosures.

Ø Metal enclosures act like a Faraday cage, trapping some of the radiation and reflecting it back on you and others.

Ø Sometimes when I’m in an elevator I tell other passengers about the benefits of turning their phones off. Unfortunately, not many do, but who knows? Eventually they may start turning them off.

Ø There’s another very good reason not to talk on a cell phone when you’re driving: talking on the phone while driving, even if you use the speaker phone, increases the risk of having an accident.

Ø So our recommendation is to just turn off your cell phone when you get into your car. You can get your messages later when you arrive safely at your destination.

12. Only make calls when and where you have a strong signal.

Ø Cell phones automatically increase power output when the signal is weak, exposing you to greater EMR.

13. Avoid making calls when traveling fast.

Ø A cell phone automatically increases power when it is moving at high speeds (such as in a car, train, subway, or plane) as it attempts to connect to the next cell phone base station.

14. Turn your cell phone off at night.

Ø EMR emitted from cell phones can lower the quality of your sleep. All electrical appliances emit EMR, and therefore can interfere with the quality of sleep. [Reference: R. B. Herberman, MD, University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (2008)]

Ø The Safe Wireless Initiative suggests moving your electric alarm clock or clock radio (this goes for any other electronic or electrical appliances, too) at least 1.8 meters (6 feet) away from your bed. A battery-powered alarm clock can be used near the bed.

Ø If you must leave your cell phone on during the night - to be able to receive emergency calls, for example - keep your cell phone at least 1.8 meters (6 feet) away from the bed. This might seem like a big inconvenience, but isn’t it worth it if it might keep you from EMR-induced cancer?

15. If you purchase a cell phone, get one with a low SAR (Specific Absorption Rate).

Ø The lower the SAR number, the better.

Ø The Motorola Razr V3x has a SAR of 0.14, which is the lowest we’ve seen. We’ve heard there may be others with even lower SAR ratings.

Ø The Motorola V195s has a SAR of 1.6, the worst on the market.

Ø Many cell phone manuals indicate the SAR number of that particular model.

Ø You can find most cell phone SAR rates here. (We’re including this link for its useful SAR information, but we don’t agree with much of what the site says. It’s a cell phone manufacturer forum, and much of what they say defends the companies’ policies.)

16. Act now. Don’t wait for health officials to acknowledge the dangers of cell phone EMR.

Ø Smoking, VIOXX, and Thalidomide (and the list goes on) were touted as safe for a long time, with tragic consequences.

Ø It is estimated that VIOXX was responsible for as many as 50,000 deaths in the US alone before it was taken off the market!

17. If we do our very best, we can trust God to do the rest.

Ø We can’t protect ourselves from all danger. And we don’t want to be fearful, as that’s one more stress that’s also detrimental to our emotional and physical health.

Ø But we can - and should - work at becoming truly informed, and then act on that information to the very best of our ability.

Ø Then, when we’ve done what we can, we can pray and trust God to do what we can’t.

JOHOR BARU, MALAYSIA: Dried herbs, including chrysanthemum flowers, barley and lohon koh (dried persimmons), are selling like hot cakes here as most housewives take the trouble to brew them as cooling beverages for their family members in view of the global influenza A (H1N1) scare.
The top two sellers are still Jinyinhua (Lonicera japonica Thunb) and Banlangen (Isatis tinctoria L.) because of their anti-viral properties.
The herbs were sold out in most Chinese medical shops during the severe acute respiratory syndrome pandemic a few years ago.
Checks at most Chinese medical shops showed that consumers are more inclined to subscribe to herbal remedies these days as a preventive measure.
Chinese physician Lim Boon Hime said some Chinese medical shops had prepared ready-packed herbal mixes which were boiled and consumed.
"Generally, these herbal mixes and popular herbal beverages such as chrysanthemum tea, barley and lohan drinks are recommended as they dispel heat. They have mild cooling properties, too.
"However, consumers have to be cautious and are advised to consult Chinese physicians when consuming the jinyinhua and banlangan beverages. These herbal preparations are too potent in their cooling effect.
"Those who consume the herbs despite their yin (cool) body condition will further increase the yin-yang imbalance and this could be exhaustive and dangerous for the body."
Normally, a pack of herbal mix comprises gegen, lugen, xiakucao, donzhuye, zicao, baimaogen, tongcao, gancao, heye and mu hu die, which are imported from China.
Another Chinese physician, Tey Wei Piau said the best preventive measure was still drinking enough water and sufficient rest as these would enhance the immune system.
He said dried herbs with mild cooling properties were recommended but one had to moderate the amount of sugar in the drink.
"Jinyinhua and banlangan are recognised worldwide as a herbal remedy for those suffering from a viral attack.
"However, those with chronic diseases like heart problem, high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol should seek medical advice before consumption," he said.
It was reported most Chinese medical shops in Singapore are running out of the two herbs.

The paper’s report followed news of Jackson’s death first reported by the TMZ entertainment website, which said that the singer suffered a cardiac arrest. There was no immediate comment from spokespersons for Jackson.

Known as the ‘King of Pop,’ for hit albums that included ‘Thriller’ and ‘Billie Jean,’ Jackson’s dramatic stage presence and innovative dance moves were imitated by legions of fans around the world.

His one-gloved eccentric style also earned him plenty of critics and another nickname, ‘Wacko Jacko.’

Jackson, who had lived as a virtual recluse since his acquittal in 2005 on charges of child molestation, had been scheduled to launch a comeback tour from London next month.

TMZ said on its website that Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest on Thursday afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. ‘We’re told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back,’ the site said.

Earlier, the Los Angeles Times said the singer had been rushed to a Los Angeles-area hospital by fire department paramedics.

The newspaper said paramedics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the singer’s home before taking him to the UCLA Medical Centre hospital.

Jackson had been due to start a series of concerts in London on July 13 running until March 2010. The singer had been rehearsing in the Los Angeles area for the past two months.

The shows for the 50 London concerts sold out within minutes of going on sale in March.

His lifetime record sales tally is believed to be around 750 million, which, added to the 13 Grammy Awards he received, makes him one of the most successful entertainers of all time.

There were concerns about Jackson’s health in recent years but the promoters of the London shows, AEG Live, said in March that Jackson had passed a 4-1/2 hour physical examination with independent doctors. — REUTERS

NEW CHEATING SCAM

A few days ago, one of my friends received a sms with the message:
You've stuck 1st prize with a prize money of RM 200,000 cash. The sms came
with a contact no. My friend ignored it since he had heard of too many bogus scams
using similar tactics.

After a short while his handphone rang, a Miss Fang asked: "Sir have you
received a sms telling you that you've struck 1st prize?"

My friend answered: "Yes, I have"

Miss Fang: "Please let us have your bank account number so that we can
deposit the money into your account."

My friend thought, why not, let's see what you can do. My friend has a
buddy who works in that bank. Hence, he gave her his accound number.

Ten minutes later, my friend's handphone started ringing again.

Miss Fang said: "Sir, we have deposited your prize money into your
account, please check and verify."
My friend checked using his handphone and found that RM 200,000 was
really deposited into his account. He was euphoric, just like that and he's
RM 200,000 richer!

30 minutes later, Miss Fang called again.. She was crying: "I'm sorry
sir, I made a mistake, I forgot to deduct the tax before I deposited the
prize money, 20% of RM200,000 equals to RM 40,000. Now the company
wants me to reimburse the money. Can you please return the RM 40,000
tax? I beg you."

My friend t! hought f or a while and felt pity for the lady. Thinking of
the money in his bank account, he went to the bank.

Suddenly he thought of his buddy working in that bank and decided to ask
his buddy to double check and confirm for him first.

Upon checking, his buddy found out that the money was deposited using a
cheque of a different bank.

Even though the cheque was deposited but the actual amount of money can't
be transfered into his account on the same day. If the other party decided to
cancel the cheque, then he'll not get this RM200,000.

My friend was shocked. He almost lost RM40,000.

Before my friend left for home on that day, the cheque was actually
cancelled. If not for his buddy, if not for him being a professional.
or if he was scared of letting others know of striking the prize then this
bogus scam could be successful. This is a true story, please beware.

Future scams could be even better planned. Please don't forget to forward
to your friends and relatives to warn them from being cheated.

Clay Balls

A man was exploring caves by the Seashore.. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn't look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could.

He thought little about it, until he dropped one of the clay balls and it cracked open on a rock . Inside was a beautiful, precious stone!

Excited, the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls. Each contained a similar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the 20 or so clay balls he had left.

Then it struck him. He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves. Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of thousands, but he had just thrown it away!

It's like that with people. We look at someone, maybe even ourselves, and we see the external clay vessel. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It isn't always beautiful or sparkling, so we discount it.

We see that person as less important than someone more beautiful or stylish or well known or wealthy. But we have not taken the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person.

There is a treasure in each and every one of us.. If we take the time to get to know that person, and if we ask God to show us that person the way He sees them, then the clay begins to peel away and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth.

May we not come to the end of our lives and find out that we have thrown away a fortune in friendships because the gems were hidden in bits of clay. May we see the people in our world as God sees them.

Singapore confirms first case of H1N1

SINGAPORE: Singapore has confirmed its first case of Influenza A (H1N1).

The patient is currently being treated at the Communicable Disease Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and is in stable condition.

The patient is a 22-year-old Singaporean woman who was in New York from May 14-24.

She arrived back in Singapore from New York on SQ25 on 26 May at 6.30am.

She began to develop a cough while onboard.

She passed the thermal scanner uneventfully as she did not have fever then.

Later in the morning, she consulted a GP who decided to send her to TTSH via a 993 ambulance, given her travel history.

She was immediately admitted for testing. Laboratory confirmation of her infection was made by midnight of 26 May.

The patient has been vigilant in monitoring her own condition and had sought immediate medical attention once she realized that she was unwell.

Her attending GP, through his quick response in activating the 993 ambulance for the patient, had also helped to minimize the spread of infection from this case.

The Health Ministry says it has initiated contact tracing of her close contacts. They will be quarantined and provided with antiviral prophylaxis.

Passengers who had travelled in the same flight and were seated in rows 52 to 58 are urged to call the hotline at 1800-333 9999 to enable the MOH to check on their health condition.

The MOH adds that all medical practitioners and healthcare institutions should continue to be vigilant to suspect cases.

Singapore will continue with temperature screening for passengers entering Singapore at all checkpoints (land, sea and air).

All passengers passing through or entering Singapore are given Health Alert Notices on board their flights, advising them to monitor their own health if they have been to affected areas and to seek medical attention immediately if they are not well.

Swine influenza virus (SIV) is caused by Orthomyxoviruses that are endemic to pig populations. SIV strains isolated to date have been classified either as Influenzavirus C or one of the various subtypes of the genus Influenzavirus A.

Swine flu, unlike bird flu, is able to pass from human to human contact. The 2009 swine flu outbreak is the spread of a new strain of H1N1 influenza virus that was first detected by public health agencies in March 2009. Local outbreaks of influenza-like illness were detected in three areas of Mexico, but the presence of this new strain was not discovered for a month.

Following this discovery in the parts of United States bordering Mexico, its presence was swiftly confirmed in the local outbreaks in Mexico, and in isolated cases elsewhere. By April 27, the new strain was confirmed also in Canada, Spain, and the United Kingdom and suspected in many other nations, with over 1,800 candidate cases.

The new strain is an apparent reassortment of several strains of influenza A virus subtype H1N1, including a strain endemic in humans and two strains endemic in pigs, as well as an avian influenza.

Reassortment is common in influenza viruses, due to the structure of their genome. This particular reassortment is consistent with a transmission of swine influenza from pig to human combined with the mixing of two viral infections in the same person.

In April both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) expressed serious concerns about this novel strain, because it apparently transmits from human to human, has had a relatively high mortality rate in Mexico, and because it has the potential to become a flu pandemic.

On April 25, 2009, the WHO determined the situation to be a formal â€œpublic health emergency of international concernâ€�, with knowledge lacking in regard to â€œthe clinical features, epidemiology, and virology of reported cases and the appropriate responsesâ€�.

Government health agencies around the world also expressed concerns over the outbreak and are monitoring the situation closely.

Recommendations to prevent infection by the virus consist of the standard personal precautions against influenza. This includes frequent washing of hands with soap and water or with alcohol-based hand sanitizers, especially after being out in public. People should avoid touching their mouth, nose or eyes with their hands unless they've washed their hands. If people do cough, they should either cough into a tissue and throw it in the garbage immediately or, if they cough in their hand, they should wash their hands immediately.

Many countries confirmed that inbound international passengers will be screened. Typical airport health screening involves asking passengers which countries they have visited and checking whether they feel or look particularly unwell.

On April 27, the CDC recommended the use of Tamiflu and Relenza for both treatment and prevention of the new strain.

Some physicians in the US are recommending the use of masks when in public. The purpose of a face mask is to effectively cover a personâ€™s mouth and nose so that if a person is around someone who is infected, there is a decreased likelihood of transmission.

Cooking Hard Boiled Eggs the easy way!

Cooking hard boiled eggs can be a hassle because you have to kor hui (jaga api) or kor chui (jaga air). My dear friend, KK was so kind to share this method of cooking the eggs whereby you don't have to worry whether they are over-cooked or under-cooked.

1) Place two pieces of tissue paper inside the rice cooker and sprinkle them with water.

2) Put in the eggs.

3) Close the lid and press "Cook" button.

4) Wait till the button jumps up. When it does, TURN OFF THE ELECTRICITY POWER. Do not leave them too long inside the rice cooker after cooked ...only do so if you prefer a harder egg yolk.

5) The eggs are ready.

The speed is faster than using ordinary boiling method. This is because the water sprinkled on the tissue will turn into steam and compressed inside the rice cooker to cook the eggs. You can peel the egg shells off very easily. The egg yolks will turn out just nice, not too dry. And the best part is -you don't have to do any washing nor cleaning at all.

Without the cage you wouldn't stand a chance swimming with a massive saltwater crocodile.
But for brave punters who still want to get cosy with a feisty croc, a new Australian tourist attraction is offering the chance for a close encounter in the safety of a clear acrylic box dubbed the 'cage of death'.
Just 4cm of acrylic, a pair of goggles and a swimsuit, will separate thrill-seekers from the jaws of Choppa, a saltwater crocodile.

The cage has no bars, unlike cages used in shark dives, which prevents the reptiles from gripping on but deep teeth scratches are visible on the sides, deterring some hesitant participants.
Top End tourists climb into the clear box before being lowered into Choppa's lair.
They then spend 15 minutes inside the 9ft high cage and watch Choppa, who lost both front feet while fighting other crocodiles, trying to take a bite out of them.

The attraction at Crocosaurus Cove in the heart of the city of Darwin in the Northern Territory has been given high marks by adrenaline-junkies.
'This is it!' said self-confessed thrill-seeker Mark Clayton from Darwin after spending 20 minutes face-to-face with the crocodiles.
'I dive with sharks, large rays, moray eels ... but it's not this close. It's exhilarating to get that close to a crocodile of that size.'

Face-to-face: The experience is made even more thrilling for tourists because the cage has no bars Saltwater crocodiles, known locally as "salties," are the largest crocodile species, with the males growing up to 19.6ft long and weighing up to 2,204lbs. They are found in across Southeast Asia but the highest numbers are found in northern Australia. Michael Scott, who opened the attraction in July, said there was plenty of demand for the £35 thrill. 'In the Northern Territory, the saltwater crocodile is an icon and is part of our life. They are always in the news, either in someone's swimming pool or killing someone's favourite horse,' Mr Scott said.

Hunting for food: Up to two people are allowed in the cage at the one time The most famous crocodile to be housed at the park is Burt, who starred as the beast that nearly ate Linda Koslowski's character in Crocodile Dundee. Although saltwater crocodiles are dangerous, fatal attacks on humans are rare in Australia with only one or two reported a year. Warning signs are displayed at rivers, lake and beaches in areas inhabited by crocodiles.

Dicing with danger: Swimming face-to-face with a massive saltwater crocodile might not be everyone's idea of fun but thrill-seekers are snapping up Australia's newest tourist attraction The most recent fatality was reported last month in Queensland when the suspected remains of a British man were found inside a crocodile. Arthur Booker, 62, was last seen checking crab pots on a crocodile-infested river in the state's north.

A dog, a cat and a rat

A terrific combination. This is a video of a homeless man in Santa Barbara and his pets. They walk the Streets every day for donations. The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a family. The man who owns them rigged up a harness for his cat so she wouldn't have to walk so much (like the dog and himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and as no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started riding with the cat and, often, on the cat!

The dog, will stand all day and let you talk to him and admire him for a few chin scratches. The Mayor of Santa Barbara filmed this clip and sent it out as a holiday card.
